Scam company! Charged my card 4 times for 1 order. Not answering my calls or emails.
Their customer service is so bad, that I had to warn you guys about it. If anything with your suit goes wrong, that is it - just deal with it.

This is my second review.
I have officially gotten myself a new tux. Not because Black Tux was responsive, actually the opposite. It's now two weeks after the event.... And I still don't have a label that I can print out and send this tux back.
I've spent countless hours on hold trying to talk to someone, many emails sent (both to them and to their CEO, who clearly doesn't care at all)... and zero response.
The most response I got was the canned response here about emailing them again... At this point, I can't recommend this company any less. I've already spoken to my bank about not accepting any charges from this shill of a company.
I've never been so angry with a company than I have been with Black Tux. They really screwed up big here... and the worst part is they could have made another customer because I'm planning my wedding. And there's no way in hell I'll use this company.
If it's between using this company for tux's and having the wedding party in swim suits, looks like we're going beach themed. That's how against this company I am.

I did my research and Black Tux was my attire of choice for my wedding over Men's Warehouse. My research online led me to visiting a Black Tux storefront to give me a hands-on assistance with measurements and in-person look of the suit. The person who assisted me was very personable and guided me to the next steps after purchase.
I received a big package on May 21st, 2021. The package included the Tux coat, Tux pants, vest, white shirt, pre-tied bow tie, cufflinks, collar extender, and black shoes. All were packed very nicely. No damages. There were great instructions especially for people like me who needs a checklist on what is considered a good fit. Additionally, there were instructions on what kind of alterations are allowed without being charged extra. Black Tux also emailed me to inform them that all items were received and if there are things that needed to be returned for a replacement.
I went and got most of the attire dry cleaned and it was all set for the wedding. Everything fit well and had no problems with movement throughout the event.
After my wedding was over, I was emailed by Black Tux again to begin the return process. Another option was presented to me which was keeping my tux for a discounted rate. I am glad I was able to select which items I wanted to keep. In this case, I kept everything specifically for keepsake purposes!
The rental and return process were great. The only issue is on the date they were supposed to arrive... they didn't show. When called they advised they didn't have the sizes in that choice... so they didn't send it???? Very odd and frustrating, BUT, they did however find the ones that fit in a different style and overnighted them. A little communication would've made the process seamless. I will use them again, just pay attention to when they say they will ship and if they do!
I’m Father of the bride. I called 2 weeks before wedding wondering where the suit is. I was told nothing was in stock. I was informed to call in 2days because returns should be coming in. I called 2 days sent out shoes and belt. Told call back in 2 days for rest of suit. Note every time you call back you wait 1hr -11/2 hrs on hold. I’m currently on hold for2hr 35 minutes. The wedding is 2 days away. I planned ahead and bought a new suit. Horrible company !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Booked myself and four groomsmen for a wedding this June, had everything sorted back in January, even did a home try on without issue.
Received an email end of May confirming that my suit was preparing to ship.
Two weeks before the wedding I get an email stating they didn't have my pants size in a light blue tuxedo and asked if I wanted to change styles or my size (?)
I told them I didn't because it's a tuxedo and I couldn't just change the size as that's not a thing. They proceeded to tell me that they never had this size, yet they had confirmed the order "automatically". They then offered to change to black pants and then IN THE SAME EMAIL PARAGRAPH said they didn't have any in stock so I should just "wear whatever pants you have and it'll work".
Asked for a refund and confirmation that the rest of my party was all set, got told "the rest of your party was in the size range so should be good. If there's any problems we'd have let them know".
Then my best man gets an email saying they're out of everything and asking HIM if he wants to change his tuxedo to something different (when obviously he's not the one who assigned everyone's look). Only one person has had a shipping confirmation (when they were supposed to have it in hand 2 weeks out), everyone else says "pending".
Now we're less than two weeks out scrambling to find matching suits for everyone. Theblacktux has not been helpful in any way and seems to act like none of this is a big deal and we should be happy getting anything at all. Nothing was said for the four months leading up to this.
I encourage everyone to look up other review sites before using this company, you'll see how they used to come highly recommended and now are just receiving one stars for the same reasons described above.

Complete trash of company and business. Can’t even deliver a suit in time for a wedding and no one even works in customer service it’s unreal you’ll be on the phone for over three hours and no one picks up. Use a local business with real genuine people. Such a headache. This business needs to close
Horrible customer service, only automated email responses and they do not pick up the phone directly. I have emailed three times and called three times and have yet to reach someone.
DO NOT RENT FROM BLACK TUX. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. Hold times are in excess of 2hrs minimum just to see why your order is late. I’m kicking myself for even thinking of this place. The sad thing is the store associate was great and very helpful, but for Gods sake get a REAL customer service, even just adding chat would be better than taking hours out of my work day to try and speak with someone to just be hung up on.

This company has the worst customer service in the entire wedding industry. I have been waiting on responses to questions I've sent via email for over three weeks. If you want to get in touch with anyone, you have to wait on the phone for 2 hours and even then they might not pick up the phone. Two groomsmen at my wedding need their money refunded from this vendor and finding a single person to talk to is nearly impossible. Thank God I found out what a joke this was a few months prior to my wedding and made plans with a local tux rental that actually dignifies your questions and concerns with prompt responses. Feel awful for people who are waiting for orders to show up days before their events. AVOID THE BLACK TUX LIKE THE PLAGUE.
No one to respond!!!! Last week they had a message that they had to turn off their phones and would only respond to email. Sent 3 emails in the past 7 days no response.
Today, they reconnected their phones looks like, but after a 2 hour hold, it hung up on me
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, they don't care about you, stay away from them!!
